For this review, I'm going to reviewing multiple facets of my purchase--The lingerie itself by Chile-based designer Toru & Naoko and the shop I purchased it from, Bluestockings Boutique.
Let's start with a quick look at Toru & Naoko. From their website:

This set was generously provided by Panache for review. As always, all opinions are unbiased and my own and this post was not sponsored.

Marcie is one of Cleo's most popular bras, and yet I haven't had the chance to own a set until recently. Aria is part of Panache Black--Panache's more sophisticated, mature label. It first came out in Autumn/Winter 2015 and has since been discontinued. I found it on amazon and decided to give it a shot.

On my continuing search for a great plunge bra, I tried out another Panache offering: Idina Plunge. Stretchier than Fontaine with more lift than Tango II, I genuinely thought that this was The One. Unfortunately this is a case of a bra working perfectly when I tried it on but "in action" it is not quite as perfect as it seemed. Panache Tango II plunge is "the perfect accompaniment to the best selling Tango Balconnet bra", according to Panache's website. I have tried the regular Tango balconnet but it has never become a staple in my bra-drobe mostly due to personal taste. But when I started looking into plunges I decided to give Tango II plunge a shot.

I think I tried Clara on for the first time about a year ago, when I was first looking at finding a bra that fit. Unfortunately the bra I bought was used and was a bit worn out, thus I put the bra aside and forgot about it for a while. It has a stunning array of colorways though, and since I understand my size quite a bit better than when I first tried it I was lured in by the Autumn/Winter 'Lilyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15588672632045855301noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2293664782843404220.post-1407506778426570632016-01-29T12:59:00.000-08:002016-01-29T13:01:49.262-08:00Review: Curvy Kate Dreamcatcher Black 34GG
As I mentioned in my Scantilly Pounce review, I haven't explored much of Curvy Kate's offerings. It was fate, apparently, that I try on some of their bras in the near future. The reason I received this bra was a shipping mistake when I ordered a different bra on Amazon. Dreamcatcher is a rather cute bra so I wasn't particularly distressed by the mixup!

My plunge quest continues!
Fontaine is a bra that caught my eye immediately when it was released last year. The color coral is a favorite of mine and, of course, I've been keeping my eye out for plunges I may want to try.

I recently bought a very cute wrap-style dress with a low neckline. However, all of my full-bust bras have very high gores (which I generally like), and don't work well for low-cut clothes. So I'm on a bit of a quest, and will be trying out a few plunge bras and reviewing them as I go.
A note about my size: I recently noticed that my bras were starting to not fit as well anymore. Hello everyone, Happy New Year!
This bralet is a little something different to start off 2016. I really enjoy buying frivolous bedroom lingerie but most of the time I can't fit into pieces sized S/M/L. Sometimes I can get away with a size large, but if there are built-in cups or seams you better bet they'll ride halfway up my chest for an unflattering look. That, or I buy something that Lilyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15588672632045855301noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2293664782843404220.post-56066095396621809732015-12-17T09:38:00.000-08:002015-12-17T09:38:18.314-08:00Figleaves Lulu Tout Fleur Rose 34G & Briefs
As I mentioned in my last Figleaves Carmen review, I love the styles that are coming out of Figleaves' house brands lately. This set is made under the label Lulu Tout which are "French-inspired styles up to a H cup". Fleur Rose is exactly the kind of romantic, unique and affordable design that I gravitate towards. Sadly, it didn't quite work for me for reasons I'll outline below.

Wow, I'm sooo excited about this set! When Curvy Kate announced their new Scantilly line, I was incredibly pumped for some sexy lingerie options for full-busts. Despite Curvy Kate being an absolute mainstay D+ brand, I have actually never tried their bras! Their usual designs are bright, cheery, and youthful, all things I support but not my typical style. Yet Scantilly...Oh, Scantilly.

Hey folks! It has been a while. I'm excited to have a couple of bras by Figleaves' house brands up on deck for review. Their Figleaves Boudoir collection caught my eye as the designs are quite sexy and fashion-forward at an affordable price point for large busts (some styles are not full bust but others go up to a G-cup in a 30-38 band).
Available in B-G cups up to (I think) a 36 band

This is a bit of a change of pace! When I got really heavily into the bra-world, the general array of lingerie I had been unaware of also began to pique my interest. It's refreshing to be able to buy "misses" sized frilly things, when my quest for bras is slightly limited by my size.
Also unique after shopping in 'limited' DD+ sizing for a while in search of bras, is that the Lilyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15588672632045855301noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2293664782843404220.post-42435728940049219282015-06-13T12:00:00.000-07:002015-06-13T12:00:00.573-07:00Pour Moi? While I could honestly outfit myself soley in Panache and buy myself a bunch of the same bras for the sake of functionality, I love going and finding other brands to try than the same safe choices.
I was recommended Pour Moi? in their unlined styles. In retrospect, there are bras in their line that would fit better than Treasure Unlined Bra. Hi!
So apparently I'm doing my blog's name justice with so few posts lately...Though my absence from the blog has mainly been due to work and life stuff rather than pure laziness. I've had a bunch of photos just sitting on my computer and I'm happy to finally put them to use in some reviews.
My top priority has been these swimsuits. Hey folks! So like I said in the Flirtini review, I have found that Panache's Sculptresse line works quite well for me despite having to sister size to a higher band (I believe I heard that they're adding 34 bands next season? Heck yeah). Paradise is no exception, though it's not my favorite bra/brief set for reasons I'll explain in a moment...

I was first recommended Sculptresse bras on /r/ABraThatFits, and I'm happy to say this bra is probably my favorite currently (thanks ABTFers!). The Sculptresse line itself is made by Panache, and is designed for plus-size women. There's something utterly glamorous about walking around doing daily activities wearing a suspender belt. It's a bit lost to time I think, since we have stockings and pantyhose etc, but suspender belts add the same kind of bounce to your step that matching lingerie sets do. Combine those all together and I'm feeling pretty good.

Back when I thought my size existed in the bra matrix (the incredibly insufficient A-DDD size range), I loved my Elle Macpherson bras. They're beautifully made with lots of pretty details and considering I wore mine out way longer than I should have, I can vouch for their durability as well.
Once I realized my actual size, ~34FF/G I made my peace with never fitting into EM bras again. ButLilyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15588672632045855301noreply@blogger.com4
